Mission Outreaches

At the Faith Christian Family Church spreading the Word of God takes top priority. We support missionaries in remote areas of the world, as well as outreach programs right here in our own backyard.

Internationally:

• Mercy Ministries: Provides both a home and ministry for unwed mothers and young girls in crisis.

• The Gideons International: This organization makes the written word available to people around the world.

• Rhema Bible Training Center: Rhema started as a school for ministers in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and has spread throughout the world.   Now with multiple schools in multiple countries, they train thousands of ministers each year. 

 

•    Reggie and Ronnan Moffett: Through Victory World Outreach, they train pastors and minister to the people of Tanzania, Africa.

   

 

   

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

• Clarence and Marion Wright: They oversee Living Water Teaching in Guatemala. This ministry has done a tremendous job of preaching the gospel, training ministers, and reaching out to the downtrodden of Guatemala, as well as other Central American countries.

 

Each year Living Water Teaching presents us with the opportunity to partner with them in touching the lives of thousands of children in Central America through Operation Shoebox. Through Operation Shoebox, toys and personal care items are given to thousands of needy children. These are children who may not otherwise receive anything during the  Christmas season. In fact, some of the children have not received new toys before Living Water Teaching came into their lives. However, the most precious gift that is given is sharing the loving Gospel of Jesus Christ with the children. Last year they were able to bless 30,000 children, and over 3000 people were born again! In September The Family Church delivered well over 200 shoeboxes with toys, coloring books, crayons, personal hygiene products, collected by members and t-shrts, flashights, dolls and various other items donated by Kerusso.  Your giving labor is not in vain!

 

Locally:

 

• The Academy of Excellence, which provides quality Christian education for over 70 children in grades K-3 through the 8th grade. We invite you to visit the Academy's website at www.academy-of-excellence.org.

 

• Meals on Wheels: Delivers meals to the homes of those who need a helping hand.

 

• ECHO- Eureka Christian Health Outreach- provides a facility for local doctors to provide much needed health care to those who cannot afford insurance. Each month there are numerous volunteers who help to provide a caring atmosphere to the patients who come to see the doctors. They are provided with a free meal, social service referrals, and spiritual counseling on top of the medical care they receive.

 

• Various other contributions are made to local programs such as the local food bank.

 

There are many ministries and many opportunities for ministry in this area, and rather than just duplicate what others are doing, we sincerely try to determine what God wants this part of the body to do. Just as each body is made up of many members with various functions and purposes, so it is with the body of Christ. If each ministry will do what God has called them to do, every need will be met. God is a God of increase, so please join your faith with ours in believing that the Family Church will increase in capacity and opportunity to give, so that we may do our part in seeing that this gospel is preached in all the world.
